Obituary of Ruth Christina Di Rubba

Ruth Christina Di Rubba, died on Monday, May 25, 2015 at Hunterdon Medical Center. She was born in Secaucus and had lived in Plainfield and North Plainfield before moving to Pittstown 45 years ago. Mrs. Di Rubba was the owner of a knitting shop in Plainfield. She loved knitting, gardening, crafts and was an avid painter. Mrs. Di Rubba is survived by her husband of 56 years, Joseph Di Rubba; her brothers, Harold Herbst, Peter Herbst and Charlie Herbst; her sister, Lillian; her nieces Julie and Lillian and her nephew Charlie. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29th at 10:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by entombment at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
