Obituary of Heidi Lynn Errickson

Heidi Lynn Errickson, age 45, passed away August 16, 2015 with her brother Fred Errickson. Heidi was a lifelong resident of Warren who attended Watchung Hills Regional High School and graduated class of 1988. Heidi spent the last 13 years as a para professional at Central School. Her workplace allowed her to engage with children in order to fulfil her nurturing nature. Being the incredible nurturer she was, Heidi would say her greatest achievement was being a mother. On Sunday, Heidi left her son, Gabriel Vallie, who is a student at West Virginia University. Heidi’s unique, alternative, and comical personality made her easily loved by all her family and friends. Her love for live music, NASCAR, the Philadelphia Flyers, and only the finest German beer were all small aspects of her greatly magnetic character. She is survived by her son Gabriel Shane Vallie of Warren and predeceased by his father Gabriel Vallie and survived by his paternal Grandma Brenda and John Gauthier of MI. She is also survived by her mother Carol (Brown) Errickson of Point Pleasant Beach; her father Fred Errickson Sr. of Somerset; a brother Charles Errickson of Point Pleasant Beach; two sisters Judy Fanelli and her husband Rich of Glastonbury CT and Kelly Best and her husband Jake of Warren. She is also survived by her extended family and many loving friends. A visitation will be held on Friday August 21, 2015 from 4-8 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ 07069. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at the funeral home at 10:00 am followed by the cremation at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge.
