Obituary of Ruth A. Sylvester

Ruth A. Sylvester, age 84, passed away on Saturday October 3, 2015 at Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Plainfield, Mrs. Sylvester had resided in North Plainfield and Bound Brook before moving to Bridgewater 22 years ago. Mrs. Sylvester began her career as a fashion model in the Greater Metropolitan area. She later went on to run her own consulting firm, Professional Training Consultants. Mrs. Sylvester was also a director of the Taylor Business Institute in Bridgewater for 20 years. Most recently Mrs. Sylvester had worked as a fashion consultant for Gisele’s in Warren. She is predeceased by her husband Michael Sylvester in 1990, her daughter Tracy Zaninelli in 1998 and her son Peter Sylvester in 2004. She is survived by her three daughters Pamela Toresco and her husband Gary of Bridgewater, Cynthia Griseto and her husband Scott and Melissa Verger and her husband Steve of Point Pleasant; a sister Mable Force of IL, son-in-law Edward Zaninelli and daughter –in-law Ami Sylvester. She is also survived by eight grandchildren Todd, Mitchell, Matthew, Ryan, Evan, Drew, Carly and Michael; and seven great grandchildren Peter, Ricky, Thomas, Teddy, Dean, Ruthie and Meyer.
