Obituary of Ann Lucile Martin

Ann Lucile Martin Plainfield: Ann Martin, age 90, died on Friday, August 12, 2016 at her home in Plainfield. She was born in and a lifelong resident of Plainfield, NJ. Throughout her employment years she worked for Brooks Record Company and Dore Taxi Company, both located in Plainfield, NJ, and was a founding member of the First Baptist Church Credit Union in Cranford, NJ, before settling into retirement. She always loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed attending church activities and jazz festivals. Mrs. Martin is predeceased by her husband, Robert Martin in 2013. She is survived by her son, Eric Martin and his wife, Sueeney, her grandchildren, Trevor and Zachary and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Also surviving is Libby Rogers who she loved as a daughter. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 16th from 4 to 6:30 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield, followed by a 6:30 pm Funeral Service. Cremation is private.
