Obituary of Naomi S. Margolies

Naomi "Penny" Margolies, 88, of Mountainside, NJ died Friday, Nov. 4, 2016 at Via Christi Hospital, Manhattan, KS. She was born Aug. 15, 1928 in Plainfield, NJ to the late Edward and Libby (Bernstein) Sachar. On Dec. 18, 1949, she was married to Roydon S. Margolies, who preceded her in death. She is survived by daughter Debra Roquet, of Cranford NJ; son David Margolies and his wife Sheila Hochhauser of Manhattan KS; brother, Leonard Sachar and his wife Neva of Cape May NJ; and grandchildren Hannah Roquet Senofonte, Nathaniel Roquet, Rebecca Margolies, and Sam Margolies. Memorial services will be held at Temple Sholom, 1925 Lake Ave, Scotch Plains NJ at 1 PM on Monday, Nov. 7. Internment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin NJ. Funeral services are unde the direction of Higgins Home for Funerals.
