Obituary of Judite Rosa

Judy Rosa passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on March 7, 2017. Born in Newark NJ, she is survived by her fiancee Peter Gutowski, her son Alex Cossu, parents Antonio and Hilda Rosa, brothers George and Tony, sister in laws Diana, Carolyn and Patrice and her son in law and daughter in law Dan and Katie Gutowski. Also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and aunts and uncles. Judy loved to travel, fish sing and dance, but above all she loved her family. Judy lit up every room she walked into. She had a passion for everything she did in her life. Whether it was organizing a trip, hosting family dinners, being with her dogs, or raising her son, the list goes on forever. Judy was able to live her dream this past year when she moved to the beach with Pete and Molly, so she could keep her toes in the sand and a fishing line in the ocean. She was kind, selfless, loving, joyous, free-spirited, a blast to be around, and truly one of a kind. She will be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to have her in their lives. Visitation is Thursday 4-8 pm at Higgins Funeral Home Watching, NJ. Funeral Mass is Friday at 10:30 a.m at Our Lady of the Mount Church in Warren NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Judy's name can be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
