Obituary of Raphaella Feraro

Raphaella “Ella” Feraro, age 97, peacefully passed away at home on Saturday, March 25, 2017. Born in Raritan had lived in Bound Brook and Baywood Marina before moving to New Providence 17 years ago. Mrs. Feraro was the owner/operator of Ellas Beauty Shop in Bound Brook, NJ. She was a former communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church in New Providence. Mrs. Feraro was very religious, she was devoted to her family. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, crocheting and painting. Mrs. Feraro is predeceased by her husband Robert J. Feraro in 1999, her son Anthony J Feraro in 2012, her sisters; Eleanore Leone, Ann Donaruma and Nancy Somma. She is survived by her daughter Roberta Feraro; son-in-law, Robert L Bengle; Her sister Ida Somma; four grandchildren, Scott Feraro, Jonathan Feraro, Michael Feraro and his wife Cindy and Sophie Feraro; great-grandchildren Jack and Nico Feraro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM followed by a 2:00 PM funeral service at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ 07069. Entombment will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Road, Toms River, NJ 08753.
