Obituary of Jaime Alexander

Jaime Kehoe Alexander, age 62, passed away at home on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Born on Whidby Island, WA, to a Navy family, Jaime lived in many interesting places growing up including Tokyo and Hong Kong.

Jaime graduated Fairmont West High School in Kettering, Ohio. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Political Science from Albion College in Michigan in 1977. Jaime has lived in New Jersey since 1978, moving to Watchung 20 years ago.

Jaime was an Insurance Risk Management Consultant having worked advising many large firms in New Jersey including, The Connell Corporation, Plymouth Rock and AIG.

Jaime wrote a Property/Casualty textbook (first edition1996) that has been used to license thousands of insurance brokers across the state. Her school, The Alexander Institute for Risk Management, has provided licensing and continuing education to the New Jersey insurance industry for more than 20 years.

Jaime enjoyed exploring new recipes and cooking fine meals for family and friends. She was talented at needlepoint, and created many wonderful works of art. 

She is predeceased by her father Thomas Kehoe.

She is survived by her husband Seth Alexander, her mother Jill Kehoe, a brother Todd Kehoe (Lynn). She was a loving sister in-law and an aunt to Daniel, Matt, Jesse, Mike, Tommy, Elizabeth, Nick and Jenny.

Friends and family are invited to gather on Saturday, July 1st, 10:30 am, at Wilson Memorial Union Church in Watchung. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her loving memory to Rise Against Hunger.
