Rosemary Therese (Krako) Helfrich, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at her home in Warren. Born in Elizabeth, she had resided in Cranford, before moving to Warren.
Rosemary was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Elizabeth and Drake Business College. She was employed with the Simmons Company and as a legal secretary for many years, in Elizabeth.
Rosemary was a communicant of Our Lady of the Mount Church in Warren and a longtime member of the People of Hope in Plainfield.
Predeceased by her parents Walter and Rose Krako and her sister Joan Hazelhurst.
Survived by her loving husband Francis J. Helfrich; children Thomas Helfrich and his wife Esther, Nancy Miller and her husband John, Fr. Paul Helfrich, Maureen Floyd and her husband Gregory, Mark Helfrich and his wife Theresa, Francis Helfrich and his wife Sara and Jane Gerhardt and her husband Peter; 35 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; her siblings Walter Krako and Betty Daaleman.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017, from 5-8 p.m. at Our Lady of the Mount Church, Warren, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday December 1, 2017 at 10:30 at Our Lady of the Mount Church, Warren. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Stony Hill Cemetery, Watchung, NJ.
