Obituary of Stephen J. Szczubelek
Stephen Jude Szczubelek, age 68, passed away peacefully at home in Green Brook early Monday morning, December 18, 2017. Steve was born and raised in Jersey City and moved his family to Green Brook in 1986.
Prior to his retirement Steve was a police officer for ConRail out of Newark, NJ.
After retirement he devoted all his time to his family and enjoyed helping his sons at Higgins Home For Funerals .
His family meant the world to him, and he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Steve also enjoyed dinners out with his wife and friends, and he had a love for movies and TV.
He is survived by his wife, Robin, his children, Tracey, Stephen, and his wife Katherine, Jeffrey, and his wife Linda, and Robert and his four grandchildren, Charlotte, Ellie, Samuel and Amir.
A visitation will be held on Thursday at 4-8 p.m. at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Higgins Home For Funerals, followed by an interment at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge, NJ.
