Obituary of Anthony Ciallella
Anthony C. Ciallella, age 93, died on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in Belleville, NJ and lived in Union and Whitehouse Station before moving to Warren in 2017.
Mr. Ciallella served in the United States Army during World War II.
He received his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the Newark College of Engineering.
Prior to his retirement in 1989 he was a Mechanical Engineer for PSE&G in Linden for 38 Years.
Mr. Ciallella loved travel, theater & opera, working out and was an avid reader. He volunteered at the VA Hospital and at Hunterdon Medical Center.
He is predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Tina Ciallella in 2017.
Surviving are his children, Christine Maza and her husband, Billy, Donna Wozniak and her husband, Joe, Ronnie Ciallella and his wife, Kirsten and Sandie Ciallella and her husband, Ken; his grandchildren, Tana Landau, Danielle Glover and her husband, Rob and Anthony Ciallella. Also surviving are his great grandchildren, Jaxson and Beckham.
A visitation will be held on Monday, February 19th from 4 to 8 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday at 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 Mass of Resurrection at Our Lady of the Mount Church. Entombment will be at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Bridgewater. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
