Obituary of Georgiana Vernacchia

Georgiana Schwetz Vernacchia died on April 2, 2018 at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Florida. Georgiana was raised in Warren, NJ and attended Dunellen High School. Georgiana was employed by Medemerge of Greenbrook for several years and prior to that she worked for Dr. Robert Traflet. Georgiana was a parishioner of St. John's Catholic Church of Dunellen, NJ. Georgiana enjoyed music and entertaining at her swimming pool in Warren, NJ. Georgiana was a snowbird who enjoyed the beach and spending time at her Florida home in Boynton Beach. She also enjoyed bowling and spending time with friends. Georgiana was always ready to lend a helping hand to someone in need. Georgiana is predeceased by her father Michael W. Schwetz, her mother Marjorie Burdick and her brother Glenn Schwetz. She is survived by her sisters Virginia Stewart of Florida and Geralyn and her husband Jim Dooley of Massachusetts. Georgiana is survived by her husband of 32 years, Robert Vernacchia and her stepson, Christopher Vernacchia. Georgiana is also survived by her son Mark Lines and his children Olivia and Lily Lines; her daughter, Angel Vorwick and her husband Timothy and their children Lynn and James Vorwick; her daughter Michelle Desiena and her children Alexandra, Timothy and Carina Durning all of NJ. Georgiana is also survived by her great grandson, Kenneth Pittman. She was also blessed to have many life-long friends, one of them being Barbara Lowney-Forlenza.
