Obituary of Nelda Harthan

Nelda Harthan, age 83, died on Sunday, July 27, 2003 at Woodlands Genesis Elder Care in Plainfield. She was a lifelong resident of Plainfield. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Harthan was a sales representative for Teppers Department Store. She was a member of First Methodist Church in Plainfield. She is predeceased by her husband, Millerd Harthan. Surviving are two sisters, Jenise OConnor of Plainfield and Betty Baker of Florida; and two nephews, Raymond Joseph Baker and Scott Donn OConnor. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains. Arrangements are by Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield, NJ 07060.
