John Charles Bordne, 80, of Saylorsburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, March 27th, 2022, in Bartonsville, PA.
John was born in Elizabeth, NJ to Charles Henry Bordne & Ruth Click Bordne (Hodges) on July 3rd, 1941.
He was a veteran of the Cold War and proudly served in the Air Force during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Fairleigh Dickenson University.
John married Angela Jean Begley on August 27th, 1966 in Elizabeth, NJ. Together, they had 2 children, Christopher John Bordne & David Charles Bordne.
John is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Angela, and son, Christopher.
John is survived by his son, David, daughter-in-law Wendy Ann Bordne, his grandchildren John Daniel, Cynthia Marie, Mitchell David, & Krystie Violet Bordne, and his step-grandchildren Jeremy Saleh, Julian Saleh, & Ava Richie.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 31st, at Higgins Funeral Home, 752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ 07069. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Stony Hill Cemetery, Watchung NJ.
