I would like to send my prayers to the family. I always went to Hollywood Florist to get flowers for my Dad(who passed away almost 20 years ago). Jerry was always very helpful and kind. My parents have been using HOllywood Florist as long as I can remember. My Mom just found out 2 days ago that he had passed. She was there alot buying flowers, grave covers, sending flowers to me(i now live in Texas). My thoughts are with you at this diffult time.

Gerry, Although I have not seen you in many years, my memories of the times I spent with you are highly valued. When we worked together at the florist shop or when you were beating me in a game of pool, we always had a great time. Your family will miss you greatly, and your friends, in which group I consider myself, can only regret that we did not have more time with you. Dan

I guess every little kid thinks their dad is the strongest, coolest, funniest, bravest, smartest man in the world. But as a little girl and always I have known that this is true about you. I am so proud that you are my dad and I feel so blessed that I can look at my son every day and see so much of you.
I Love you forever

I will always fondly remember visiting Uncle Jerry’s “farm” as a kid on our family vacations. He always had so many animals around! I also always loved visiting the florist. There was great energy and excitement in the air there, and Jerry would show me something new about how the florist worked or making flower arrangements. As I knew him he was always gentle and kind. I will miss him….Mandi Glaser, Wishing love and peace for his family.

Dear Lynn & Family
Please accept our deepest and heartfelt sympathies on Jerry's passing. He was a great guy from the time I met him when he was about 17. We are in shock over his death. We truly loved him. He was more than our florist, HE WAS OUR FRIEND.
May God hold all of you in the palm of His hand during this sad time. God bless all of you.

Jer,
The poem that begins "God saw you were getting tired and a cure was not to be...and God called you home because he only takes the best" was written for you. The last 27 years that you were in our family as the brother we never had will be remebered as the best years of our lives.

How lucky we were 10 years ago to have Jerry and Lynne join us on Raccoon Island. If we could pick any neighbor we wanted we could not have imagined anyone as perfect as Jerry.
Alex will never forget pizza trips and the swim back from the sandbar. Jerry taught Alex to drive a pontton boat a 8 or 9 years old and was thrilled to help him build pebble beach. Jerry called Raccon Island a bit of heaven on earth, we know now he is in the real heaven telling them all about his Lynne, his family and his heaven on earth. Good fishing!!

Jerry,
As we go through our lives we often pass each other by without any thought or influence. You were not that type of person. You always took the time to be an important part of our lives and we will miss you dearly. Your hard work and dedication to family has always been an inspiration to us. We love you....

We have enjoyed having Jerry as our next-door neighbor on Raccoon Island for the past 10 years and will miss him very much. He was one of the most generous and hard-working people we've ever known. He was truly an uncle to Tara and Patrick, in every sense of the word. They will miss those Monday pizza cruises.
We are blessed to have known him.

Dear Jerry,
I have to tell you, if it's possible just to let you know that you had always been one person that I never had a bad time with. Whether it was the time I got my hand stuck out in front of the store, or when we went to Vermont and got the delivery van stuck in the mud, and you came home with the goat. I can really safely say, I had ALWAYS been a fun outing with you. I will always miss you, and may you rest in peace. Love, Randy.
