Obituary of Michele M. Cimiluca
January 23, 1951 – February 16, 2025
Michele M. Tryon Cimiluca, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on January 23, 1951, to Julia “Peggy” and Harrison Tryon, Michele lived a life defined by grace, determination, and a deep love for family.
She was a proud graduate of Red Bank Catholic High School, Class of 1969. Her passion for music led her to Georgian Court University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education in 1973. A lifelong learner, Michele was honored by her alma mater with an Honorary Master’s Degree in Business, recognizing her remarkable success in the business world.
A gifted classical pianist and dedicated music teacher, Michele shared the beauty of music with countless students, inspiring creativity and passion in all who learned from her.
Michele’s life took an unexpected turn with the passing of her beloved husband, Michael Cimiluca. Rising to the challenge, she stepped into the leadership of the family’s trucking suspension business—a male-dominated industry where she had no prior experience. With resilience, intelligence, and an unshakable work ethic, Michele not only kept the company running but led it with excellence for over two decades. Her success was a testament to her courage and unwavering commitment to her family’s legacy.
Above all, Michele cherished her family. She is survived by her son, Michael Cimiluca IV; her daughter, Lora (Cimiluca) Scott; and her adored grandsons, Liam and Harrison Scott. She is reunited in peace with her parents, Julia and Harrison Tryon; her husband, Michael Cimiluca III; and son-in-law, Ryan Scott.
Michele’s life was a symphony of love, perseverance, and grace. Her music will forever play on in the hearts of those she touched, and her legacy will endure through the family she so dearly loved and the business she steadfastly upheld.
A celebration of Michele’s life will be announced by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Donate Life America, honoring Michele’s generous spirit and her belief in the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
Her song may have ended, but her melody lingers on.
