He was born in Plainfield on July 31st, 1935, to George and Katherine (Baka) Shebey. From an early age, William (Bill) was a driven, diligent, and bright individual. He earned a full academic scholarship to Columbia University, followed by Duke University Law School, where he pursued a career in corporate law.
