Obituary of Bryan Alexander Sudeall
Bryan Alexander Sudeall, a devoted father, cherished grandfather, and generous soul, passed away peacefully at the age of 85. Born on October 24, 1939, in Axe-and-Adze, Jamaica, West Indies, Bryan lived a life defined by hard work, dignity, and unwavering kindness.
In his early years, Bryan worked cattle for his father, embracing the demands of farm life with discipline and resilience—traits that would carry him through the rest of his life. In 1980, he immigrated to the United States in pursuit of greater opportunity and a better future for his family.
He went on to dedicate over 30 years of loyal service to Kean University, where he was respected for his reliability, quiet strength, and gentlemanly nature.
Bryan was known for being incredibly frugal with himself, but endlessly generous with others. Whether helping a friend in need or quietly supporting family, he gave from the heart, never seeking recognition.
He is survived by his beloved son Peter and daughter Millicent, and his treasured grandsons Isiah, Kevin, and Andrew. He also leaves behind his dear sisters, Salia and Valda, and brothers, Conley and Derrick, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him deeply.
Bryan Alexander Sudeall lived with humility, purpose, and compassion. His legacy of hard work, generosity, and love will live on in the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing him.
