Obituary of Wasylyna Mardak

Wasylyna Mardak, 100, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2025, at her home in Ormond Beach, Florida, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Ukraine. She also lived in Austria, Caracas, Venezuela, New York City and Washington, NJ.

Wasylyna worked at American Can Company in Washington, NJ for many years before retiring in 1986. She lived with her son Victor and his wife Lisa and loved working in her vegetable garden.

Devoted, caring and loving mother of Stephanie Andersen, William Mardak and his wife Marian and Victor Mardak and his wife Lisa. Dear grandmother of Deborah Andersen Faucher, Marie Andersen–Strait, Robert Mardak, and Adam Mardak.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the Funeral Mass at the Saint Andrew’s Ukrainian Orthodox Memorial Church, South Bound Brook, NJ, on April 25, 2025, at 11:00 am, interment to follow behind Saint Andrew’s Church.
