LaVaughn,Shannon and the rest of family. I'm so sorry I can't be there with. My heart is so heavy. Bernice and I would talk for hours throughout the day. "The void is real*. Our relationship grew when I was nine years old babysitting LaVaughn and Shannon. Spending the weekends and you better know you going to church. Most time I would call her past Bishop Dillings, cause woman knew that bible.. she was for what Bible stood for. I'm going to miss Ms. Hallmark is another name I would call her. She knew the right word to tell you for what and how you were feeling.. "Auntie B" I've been struggling. I know wouldn't want. So, I'm going to pray for me and the family. I will always keep you in my heart, but it broken. You go on and take rest. I will see you soon, Love you Your Lacka. Rest in peace

I just wanted to say thank you for being such a wonderful Grandma B to our family, to me personally, and to our children. You had a wonderful loving effect on both Logan and Landon, though a different effect on each. I see in Logan the messages of faith that you have opened him up too, and instilled in him; his faith is a big portion of his life and a place he can go to for helping him make decisions and find peace and meaning. I see in Landon his compassion coming from you and the way you believe in caring for others and the way you demonstrated that by caring for our family…
You gave both boys lots of unconditional love, were always involved in and curious about both of their lives. You expected them to always work hard and to try their best, and that no matter the outcome, they always felt loved by you. Their appreciation for food probably comes from you too…
It was always a pleasure having you in our home and sharing our lives, and I hope you know how much we still love you, and we will all miss you greatly.

To the family of Sister Bernice Dillings. If you ever had to walk into a room and feel tense for no reason, just the presence of Sis. Bernice's smile will bring calm to that room.
I felt blessed to have met her a few years ago at a New Jersey Conference Branch WMS Executive Meeting in Trenton.
In my first year as a newly appointed Area WMS Chairperson, we invited her to our
WMS Annual Day Service. Unable to attend, Sis. Bernice sent me a card via the mail in support of our Society.
That was a defining moment that reminded me that Sis. Bernice was a woman of character.

What can I really say, here with tear filled eyes, Mom as I called her has indeed left an impact on me.
