Obituary of Marie DiNardi
Born in the Bronx, NY • Entered into Eternal Rest on June 7, 2025
With deep sorrow and unending love, we announce the passing of Marie DiNardi, a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, cherished sister, and faithful daughter of God. Marie entered eternal peace on June 7, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Marie was born and raised in the Bronx, New York, later living in Yonkers, where she welcomed her first son. She eventually settled in Warren, New Jersey, which she called home for the past 57 years. A proud graduate of James Monroe High School in the Bronx, Marie brought beauty and kindness into the world through her work as a hairdresser, working at House of Glamour in the Bronx and Ester’s Salon in Warren, New Jersey.
Marie was a woman of deep Catholic faith and a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of the Mount Roman Catholic Church. She lived out her values through her unwavering devotion to family, her gift for nurturing others, and her joyful spirit. She loved painting, organizing, and most of all, caring for her family—which she did with grace, strength, and endless love.
Marie is survived by her beloved husband, Michael DiNardi, and their three children: Anthony DiNardi, Michael DiNardi (partner Kelley Chevett), and Gina Rossomondo (husband Daniel Rossomondo). She was a proud and loving grandmother to twelve grandchildren: Dominique, Francesca, Isabella, Briana, Anthony Jr., Dante, Luke, Daniel, Madelyn, Josephine, Michael III, and Grace. Marie also leaves behind her dear brother, Anthony Lawrence Calagna. She was predeceased by her brother, Vincent Calagna, and her parents, Joseph and Rose Calagna.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Our Lady of the Mount Roman Catholic Church, 170 Mount Bethel Road, Warren, NJ 07059. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 PM at the church. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Stony Hill Cemetery in Watchung, New Jersey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marie’s memory to Catholic Charities, a cause close to her heart or American Cancer Society.
Marie DiNardi’s life was a testament to the power of faith, family, and unconditional love. Her legacy will live on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever held in our hearts.
