Laura Singer, age 64, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital – Somerset in Somerville, New Jersey, after a long and courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer.
Laura was formerly employed by the Vogel Agency in Kenilworth, New Jersey, and for many years was the Chief Financial Officer of the family business, Automatic Ice Maker Company.
She is predeceased by her father, Mr. Charles Schneider of Westfield and Spring Lake, and her stepfather, Mr. William C. Steele of Hobe Sound, Florida.
Mrs. Singer is survived by her mother, Mrs. Veronica Steele; her loving husband of 36 years, Jordan S. Singer; her two children: daughter Jessica Fallet and her husband Wayne, and son Philip and his wife Sonia; and the loves of her life – granddaughters Jordan A. Singer and Madeline S. Fallet. She is also survived by a vast number of extended family and cousins, especially from the Jersey Shore area.
Funeral services will be private, with a memorial service to be announced at a later date.
In honor of Laura’s great love of old war films, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to the Wounded Warrior Project or to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research.
