Dear Mom,
Your passing was a shock that left me speechless, and I miss you more and more everyday. Your presence is everywhere, all around me, when I’m cutting up vegetables and making dinner - you’re still there helping, everytime I look at your rocking chair, and in everything at home and places we’ve been, I hear your voice.
I cook the same meals we did together, and miss you every night at dinner. Home will always be remembered as “Moms house”.
I will always remember your calm, quiet demeanor, resilient, kindhearted, compassionate, and brilliant personality, and will hold onto it everywhere I go.
I especially remember our last visit alone, thank you, thank you, ❤️ for all the beautiful words you left me with.
I’ll never be able to express how much I loved and admired you, and are grateful for everything you did for me. I will never forget you.
We all know you loved to travel and I recall you saying “I’ve traveled north, south, east and west” and now you traveled to heaven, for sure, and are in the arms of Jesus.
Untill we meet again, you are with me every second, every day, and will never be forgotten.

I met Mrs. Licetti at her home for a Fourth of July celebration. We had wonderful conversations and I remember her as a kind, gracious and intelligent woman. I know she will be missed by her family and all who knew her.

I'm not of the licetti lineage, but, I practically lived there; as her youngest and i were pals. Mrs. Licetti always had time for piano lessons, cub scouts, brownies, sewing halloween costumes and the occasional fight over the TV. As I have gotten older, I've been so blessed to know Mrs licetti as a friend and not just a neighbor. I found it hard to call her by her given name, as well as with her husband. It was just respectful. She cheered me on with my college classes, and my latest endeavor; quitting smoking. Whatever I wanted to do. Mrs. Licetti was my cheering squad as well as my friend. I loved her dearly just as if she was my mom. When my mom passed, she willingly took her place, for I was so lost. JoAnn, fly free with the birds and butterflies. I look forward to seeing you in heaven.
I will miss you so dearly.

My mother was quiet but strong. She worked as a nurse the entire time I was growing up. But she still always had time for us. She raised us with love she showed every day… making us breakfast every morning before school even though she didn’t get home from the hospital until after midnight… Being cub scout den mother for my brothers… cookie mom for girl scouts…
Making paper chains and window decorations with us for Christmas … playing paper dolls with the girls… teaching me to embroider and how to cook. She made time to spend with us in spite of raising 7 children and working as a nurse. Mom taught us how to care for others and not be selfish. Her example taught us to be strong but gentle. I miss you mom. I know you are in heaven, but I will miss you always.
