Elaine Rossi (Pramick), 88, of Martinsville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, in Tinton Falls, NJ.

Elaine was born in Dupont, Pennsylvania, and built a life defined by compassion, dedication, and deep love for her family and community. A proud Registered Nurse, she spent most of her professional career as an operating room nurse at Somerset Medical Center, where her calm presence, skill, and care touched countless lives. Nursing was more than a profession to Elaine—it was a calling, one she fulfilled with grace and quiet strength.

Elaine was married to her beloved husband, John Rossi, and together they raised a family that was the center of her world. She was a devoted mother to Jeffrey Rossi and Karen DeNave, and a loving mother-in-law to Kathy Rossi and Vincent DeNave. Her greatest joy was being “Grandma” to Thomas Rossi, Nicole Rossi, Anthony DeNave, and Joseph DeNave, whom she adored and proudly supported at every activity, event, and milestone.

A longtime parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville, Elaine’s faith was a steady foundation throughout her life. In her retirement years, she embraced life fully—traveling, reading, playing mahjong, and enjoying the close-knit friendships she built with neighbors and friends who became extended family.

Elaine was predeceased by her parents, William and Ann Pramick, and her sister, Carol Yuscavage. She will be remembered for her warmth, her generosity, her sharp mind, and the genuine kindness she extended to everyone she met.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ 07069. A 10:30 am Funeral Mass will follow at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1890 Washington Valley Rd., Martinsville, NJ 08836, with entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Basking Ridge, NJ.
