Indravadan Sharedalal Obituary

Indravadan Sharedalal passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at his home in Warren, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on July 29, 1930, in Ahmedabad, India, Indravadan spent his entire life deeply rooted in spiritual faith and values of Pujya Shri Mota. He was the cherished patriarch of his family — a man whose life was guided by integrity, discipline, and an unwavering moral compass. In every sense, he was the foundation upon which his family stood, offering guidance, wisdom, and quiet strength to generations.

A deeply spiritual man, Indravadan was a lifelong and devout follower of Pujya Shri Mota. His faith was not simply practiced, but lived. Guided by Shri Mota’s teachings, he dedicated his life to serving humanity and uplifting everyone he met. He was often to be found reading religious scripture, writing, praying, or softly reciting hymns, drawing comfort and purpose from his devotion. His spirituality shaped his character and defined how he lived — with humility, compassion, and reverence.

Indravadan was a man of remarkable intellect and dedication. He pursued higher education at Gujarat University, where he earned a master’s degree in physics. Following India’s mandate of compulsory service, he served his country honorably in the Indian military. Upon completion of his service, he continued his commitment to public service through a distinguished career with the Government of India, serving as a Director of Insurance for the Life Insurance Corporation of India. He retired at the age of 60 after a career marked by professionalism and integrity.

Yet, his career achievements never defined him as much as his faith, values, and devotion to family. He will be remembered above all as a loving grand father and great grand father, whose guiding presence and influence will continue to be felt for generations.

Indravadan is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Jayshree, his devoted children and their spouses; his cherished grandchildren and their spouses; and his adored great-grandchildren.
