Torin Thurman Webb, lovingly known as “Nunu,” departed this life at the age of 53. Born on January 13, 1973, in Orange, New Jersey, to Jean and Thurman Webb. Torin was raised in Plainfield, New Jersey, and later made his home in Lakewood, New Jersey. He was a devoted son, proud father, cherished brother, loving uncle, cousin, and loyal friend whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and music wherever he went.

Torin was a graduate of J.P. Stevens High School in Edison, New Jersey. He furthered his education at DeVry Trade School, equipping himself with skills that supported his professional journey. He dedicated himself to J&T Webb Trucking, demonstrating a strong work ethic, commitment, and pride in his contributions. A man of faith, Torin was a Christian who carried his beliefs with quiet strength. He valuedfamily above all and found great joy in bringing loved ones together. Whether he was DJ’ing at gatherings, entertaining family with music, or sitting at the table engaged in lively card games, Torin had a special gift for creating moments that will now live on as treasured memories.

He enjoyed shooting pool, collecting Hess Trucks, and spending time playing video games, especially on his PlayStation. His hobbies reflected his playful spirit and youthful heart, and he never missed an opportunity to share a laugh or spark friendly competition. Torin’s greatest pride and joy was his daughter, Amayah Webb, who was the light of his life.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved daughter; his devoted parents, Jean and Thurman Webb; his brothers Tony (Angela) Webb, Gregory (Lynette) Webb, Eric Webb, Stanton (Dana) Williams, and Rodney (Kim) Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his sister, Monica “Pinky” Garrett, whom he held close in his heart.

Torin will be remembered for his vibrant personality, his love of music, his devotion to family, and the countless smiles he brought to those around him. Though he may no longer walk beside us, his rhythm, laughter, and love will echo in our hearts forever.
