Vince Veglatte, 32, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026.

Born and raised in North Plainfield, New Jersey, Vince was a proud member of the community he called home. He graduated from North Plainfield High School, where he was an active athlete, playing both football and baseball. During those years, he built friendships that remained important to him over time.

Vince had a true gift for working with his hands. He was mechanically inclined and found real joy in taking things apart, figuring them out, and putting them back together. He loved fixing cars and motorcycles, and he especially enjoyed driving and riding them whenever he could.  Being around engines, tools, and the open road brought him happiness. Music was also an important part of his life and was often playing in the background while he worked or relaxed.

Above all else, Vince was someone you could count on. He loved helping people and was the kind of person who always had your back. His loyalty ran deep, and he showed up for the people he cared about without hesitation.

Vince is survived by his parents, Judy and Frank Veglatte; his brothers, Frank Veglatte, Jr., and Brian Veglatte; his children, Michael and Angeline; and several nieces and nephews.  He will be missed by his family and all who knew him.
