Nicole was one of the most friendly and helpful people I have ever had the pleasure to work with. When I first started at UCNJ, she was the cheerful voice I looked forward to talking to on a weekly basis. Seeing her welcoming smile at the numerous events she helped organize, was always the best part of the day. She will be missed. Reading about her volunteer work and commitment to helping those in need is truly inspiring! Your legacy will live on, may you rest in peace, Nicole.

We had a pleasant conversation that evening and from there she always greeted me with a smile. May she rest in eternal peace & I send my prayers & condolences to her family. Nikki will be missed every day.
She’s the rare person who made those around her feel uplifted and cared for, in any circumstance.
Nikki’s talent, compassion, empathy and energy inspire beyond her passing.
My deepest condolences go out to her family and friends. I know I will miss her always and I only know a small part of their grief. Nikki truly impacted so many, she was a pebble that left so many ripples in the pond that will continue to resonate, going forward.
I was blessed to meet her when she was a brand-new student at Douglass College. I knew immediately this person was a keeper. The fond memories of that time only grew deeper as the years went by. Nikki was a true and trusted friend. I can still hear some of her advice in my head. Best cheerleader a friend could ever hope for.
Nikki – it’s your time to soar. I will keep an eye skyward for glimpses of you and try to follow in your footsteps.
One of the questions I will ask is this: “What would Nikki do?” I know that by doing that you are still here and the world will be a better place.
In closing, Nikki will be missed every day in all ways, big and small.
Rest in peace, dear friend.
Love,
Kathy

I will miss her and our chats whenever we spoke or saw each other. My heart goes out to her family. Rest peacefully, my friend, and may you soar with the angels!

I only knew Nicolle for a short period of time, but her smile was contagious whenever we met. She was the first to help me with the date reservation process at UCNJ. She made it simple and effortless. Remember her life and know that the Father will hold her close.

Nicole was the kind of person whose presence quietly made the world better.
She gave of herself so generously—her time, her energy, and most of all, her heart. For so many years, she served as a dedicated board member of CASA of Union County, standing as a voice for children who needed someone to believe in them. Her commitment was unwavering, and her compassion left a lasting impact on countless young lives.
As a founding member of Kindness4Kids of Union County, Nicole helped build something truly meaningful—an organization rooted in empathy, care, and the simple but powerful belief that kindness can change a child’s life. She didn’t just support the mission; she lived it every day.
Nicole had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and cared for. Her generosity extended far beyond what anyone could measure, and her legacy is one of love, service, and deep humanity.
She will be remembered not only for what she did, but for who she was—a truly kind and giving soul who made a difference in the lives of so many.
Her impact will continue to be felt in every child helped, every life touched, and every act of kindness inspired by her example.
We will miss her greatly.
