Richard A Weidemann, Sr. Obituary

Richard Weidemann, Sr., passed away in the early hours of May 15th, 2026, peacefully at home and surrounded by family. Beloved father, husband, son, and brother, Richard lived a full life and will be deeply missed. He was a member of the United States Army from 1961-1964, achieving the rank of E5. Stateside, Richard volunteered as a Little League coach and soccer referee.  He was also an Assistant Cub Scout Master and a member of the Jaycees. He also cultivated a bountiful half acre garden every year and was an avid collector, boasting extensive pewter, coin, and baseball card collections. A cherished member of the Warren community, Richard was well-known around town for his winding stories and charming demeanor.

Richard was steadfast in his Catholic faith; he was a longtime usher and proudly served as a Knight in the 4th degree and member of the Honor Guard in the Knights of Columbus. He is predeceased by his parents, Walter Weidemann, Sr. and Anna Frances Weidemann and his brother, Walter Weidemann. He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Frances Weidemann, 4 children, Richard Weidemann, Jr. (Carolyn), Teresa Jurewicz (Michael), Robert Weidemann (Pamela) and Thomas Weidemann (Jennifer),  sister Marie Bergan, brother Carl Weidemann, and 7 grandchildren, Laura Molik, Michael Jurewicz, Jr., Kelsey Fortunat (Stephen), Robert Weidemann, Jessica Weidemann, Kyle Weidemann, and Richard Weidemann III.
