Karin Anne Lange, born October 9, 1967, in Plainfield, NJ passed away on May 29, 2026 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was a devoted fun-loving person whose spirit and zest for life left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Karin’s family and friends remember her as a beacon of love, humor, and strength – a woman whose strong presence was felt deeply.

Growing up in North Plainfield, Karin developed deep friendships and a passion for the arts. She graduated from Kean University before beginning a successful career in real estate. Karin worked at Pulte Homes in Bernardsville, where she served as Director of Settlement until her retirement in 2007.

Throughout her professional life, Karin was admired for her dedication, attention to detail and hard work.  Beyond her accomplishments, Karin truly came alive in the company of loved ones and under the sun of Long Beach Island. For years, she cherished her time on the island’s sandy shores, reveling in ocean breezes. Long Beach Island was more than just a destination for Karin – it was a second home where she built a circle of friends who became like family. In hosting gatherings, she made others feel welcome and loved. Those who knew her recall her ready smile and her open doors.

Karin enjoyed the support and love of her family. She was a daughter, sister, aunt and friend who celebrated milestones with enthusiasm. Her loved ones will treasure her radiant spirit, her love of gatherings and summers by the sea.

Karin is survived by her family and her cat, Not Larry. They include sister Susan Lange and her husband Aziz Darouichi of Boston and their children Noura and Khalil, brother Robert W. Lange, Jr. and his wife Kelly Lange of Oak Ridge, NJ and their sons Steven and Alex and her sister and confidante Colleen Lange of Bedminster, NJ.  She also leaves behind many dear friends and bonus niece Sabrina Backle who will continue to celebrate her life and the love she gave. While our hearts ache at her loss, they are also full of gratitude for having known and loved Karin. Her legacy of joy, and unwavering love will live on in the lives she touched.

We love you, Karin, and we know you will be BACK IN FIVE!
