Obituary of Alfred M. Loscialo

Alfred M. Loscialo, age 79, died at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 from lung cancer. Family and close friends always called him Rudy. Born May 16, 1930, in Manhattan, New York, Alfred was the youngest of thirteen children. Although raised in Brooklyn, his military service in the U.S. Army as a young man took him on travels abroad where he served in the Korean War. Alfred pursued engineering studies while in service, an endeavor that would fuel many future projects, both professionally and personally. Alfred married Jennie Marie Leotta in 1968, and eventually used his engineering skills to build a home in Warren, New Jersey. Prior to his moving to Warrren he founded a successful disposal company. His deep passion for creating and building things led him to develop a several patents, one of them being a dust collecting system for a paper-bailing machine. He also amassed a collection of workshop machines and tools that would be the envy of any professional homebuilder or carpenter. Jennie passed away in May 2000 from breast cancer. He was passionate about building and creating and had built several working model airplanes. Survivors include three of Alfred's siblings: Albert Loscialo, Ann Meyers, and Vera Morle. He is also survived by his two daughters, Georgeann Agaisse of Warren, NJ and Lauren Loscialo of New York City, as well as four grandsons: Wyatt, Ty, Wade, and Luke. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday , April 16th at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, Martinsville.New Jersey. Cremation is private. Relatives and friends are welcome at the service and the reception at Alfred's Warren home immediately following the service. Memorial contributions may be made Susan G.
