Obituary of Joyce E. Weiss

Manville: Joyce Weiss, 84, died on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 following a diagnosis of cancer. Joyce was originally from Irvington but chose to raise her family in North Plainfield. Joyce was a secretary for Lockheed Martin for 18 years. Following her retirement, she continued to work at Berkeley Heights Township for another 10 years Finally, Joyce worked part-time as a Kindergarten Aide in East End Elementary School. Joyce was known by many as Fran and more recently as GG. great grandmother. She is survived by her sisters, Judy and Jean; her children, Lana, Bruce and Brian; her grandchildren, Daria, Danielle, Brandon, Erik, Brittany and Erich and her great grandchildren, Lucas, Alexis, Antonia and one on the way. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 2nd at 12:00 noon at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ 07069. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
