Obituary of Angelo E. Del Mauro

Angelo E. Del Mauro, age 56, entered into eternal life surrounded by his loving family and friends on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick after suffering complications of leukemia. He was born in Summit, NJ, raised in Springfield and lived in Warren for the past 17 years. He was a graduate of Post Junior College and Kean University. Gene was a self employed landscape contractor. Gene was a member of Our Lady of the Mount Roman Catholic Church in Warren. He was an avid Yankee and Giants fan, loved his annual trips to Aruba and took great pride sharing in the accomplishments of his two sons. Gene was also a member of the Msgr. F.X. Coyle Council Knights of Columbus in Springfield, NJ. Surviving are his devoted wife of 24 years Carol Del Mauro (nee: Kelly); his dedicated sons, Michael and Benjamin, his loving mother Maria, his grateful brothers Gaetano, Joseph and Louis and his many adoring nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. He will be forever missed and always in their hearts. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 9:45 a.m. at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, followed by an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at Our Lady of the Mount Roman Catholic Church in Warren. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.
