Obituary of Annetric D. Cosey

Annetric Cosey, age 50, died on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was born the third child of Hattie and Theodore Cosey on August 10, 1960 in Westpoint, Mississippi. Annetric attended St. Bernard's Elemenary School and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas high School in 1978. She then went on to graduate from Rutger's University and completed her Master's Degree in Chemistry at Seton Hall University. She was employed by Colgate Palmolive and Bristol Meyers Squibb in North Brunswick as a Senior Research Chemist. On February 10, 1995 Annetric was blessed with her beautiful daughter Annette Christina Cosey Brown. Annette was the joy of her life. Annetric's focus in life was to fill her daughter's life with love, education and a nurturing home. She is predeceased by her mother, Hattie Mae Cosey in 2000, her brother, Donald Cosey in 1993 and her sister, Theodoria Cosey in 1969. Surviving are her beloved daughter, Annette Christina Cosey Brown, her father, Theodore R. Cosey of Piscataway, her two sisters, Myra Dicks and Harriet Parker, two brother-in-laws, Willie Dicks and Dennis Parker, two nieces, Fee-Fee and Courtney and dedicated friend, Mrs. Winnie Grant who was a truly inspirational person to Annetric and her family during her longtime illness. Annetric was a very loving person who had a strong determination to live for her daughter and her family. She was very intelligent and had the wonderful ability to make those around her feel appreciated and she was an excellent listener who would do anything she could for you. A special thanks to Cousin Rodell Hurskin who provided Neta encouragement and DCl Dialysis Center in North Brunswick. Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Higgins Home For Funerals, 209 West Eighth Street, Plainfield at 9:00 a.m., followed by an 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Bernard's Church in Plainfield. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be on Friday from 6-8 p.m only.
