Obituary of Frederick Errickson, Jr.

Frederick William Errickson Jr. Middlesex: Frederick W. Errickson Jr, age 55, passed away with his sister Heidi Errickson on Sunday August 16, 2015 at her home in Warren. Born in Elizabeth, Fred had grown up in Warren and had resided there until moving to Middlesex 15 years ago. Fred had worked as a facility manager at the County Auto Wreckers in Jersey City. Fred was a very hard worker and dedicated employee. He was a motorcycle enthusiast who also enjoyed watching sports and spending time with family. He was an amorous husband who adored his wife, Kimberley. Fred was not just an incredible husband, but also a protective and caring big brother to 4 younger siblings. His true passion in life was spending quality time with his grandson, Dominick. Fred’s authentic and genuine personality made it easy for all to enjoy a belly laugh in his presence because there was never a dull moment with him. His strength shone through his big smile and his happiness emanated from acts that flowed from his big heart. He is survived by his wife of 15 and a half years Kim (Dontis); two daughters Lauren and Kara Vanderhelm; a grandson Dominick Raiti; his mother Carol (Brown) Errickson of Point Pleasant Beach; his father Fred Errickson Sr. Somerset; a brother Charles Errickson of Point Pleasant Beach; two sisters Judy Fanelli and her husband Rich of Glastonbury CT and Kelly Best and her husband Jake of Warren and three brother in laws Michael and Peter Dontis of Staten Island and Gary Dontis of Florida. He is also survived by his extended family and many loving friends. A visitation will be held on Friday August 21, 2015 from 4-8 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ 07069. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at the funeral home at 10:00 am followed by the cremation at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge.
