Obituary of Zelma P. Earl

Zelma P. Earl, affectionately known as "Princess" age 53, of Plainfield New Jersey entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Zelma was born to the late Rastas (Frank) Earl and the late Zelma (Crowell) Earl on October 23, 1962. She has resided in Plainfield, NJ since 1994. Zelma was educated in the Newark Public School system and graduated from Westside High School, Newark, New Jersey in 1980. Zelma was employed by Kings Super Market in Gillette, NJ as a Bookkeeper; she had previously worked for Bradley's Department store in Union, NJ as a Front End Manager and Manager of the Domestic Household department and at Burlington Coat Factory in Piscataway, NJ as a Manager of the Domestic Household department. Zelma was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, New York Rangers and the Los Angeles Lakers. In her spare time Zelma volunteered at the local food bank, enjoyed bowling and playing softball. She was a member of the Bradley's Department Store bowling and softball team(s) for many years. Zelma also loved music and shopping. Zelma was predeceased by her brother Frank Earl, Jr. Surviving are her siblings: Veronica Earl-Byers (Theodore-Deceased), Newark, NJ; Joseph Earl, Plainfield, NJ; Wayne Earl, Sr. (Christina) So. Plainfield, NJ; Darin Earl (Jackie) Newark, NJ; Daryl Earl, Plainfield, NJ; and Kevin Earl, Newark, NJ; thirteen nieces and nephews; also survived by many grandnieces, grandnephews and a host of extended family and loving friends.
