Obituary of Thomas L. Rack

Thomas L. Rack Martinsville: Thomas L. Rack, age 87, died on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson @ Somerset in Somerville. He was born in Rahway and lived in Warren before moving to Martinsville 50 years ago.. Mr. Rack proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a carpenter his entire life and started his own business, TL Rack Carpentry in Martinsville Mr. Rack was a Communicant at Our Lady of the Mount Church and a honorary member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a member of Habitat for Humanity. He enjoyed woodworking. Mr. Rack is predeceased by his wife, Phyllis F. Rack in 2001. Surviving are his sons, Timothy (Linda) of Raritan, Matthew (Karen) of Bricktown and Jonathan (Dawn) of Cresco; his daughter, Cheryl (Carl) Jackson of Flemington; his brother, William Rack of Rahway and his sister, Marion Greener of Westfield. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jennifer and her fiancé, John, Samantha and her fiancé, Robert, Brenden, Hayden, Olivia, Hunter and Kendra. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 3 to 7 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 am at the funeral home followed by interment at Neshanic Cemetery, Neshanic.
