Obituary of Reginald William Cooper

Watchung: Reginald W. Cooper, age 86, passed peacefully on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Overlook Hospital in Summit with his family by his side. He was born and raised in Trenton and lived in Watchung since 1967. Reg served in the United States Navy. Prior to his retirement in 1996, he was the Plant manager for Ceroincs in Matawan. Mr. Cooper was a very active Communicant at St. Mary's Stony Hill Church. He enjoyed golf, softball and coached his children in the PonyTail League and Little League. Reg is survived by his wife, Mary Addario Cooper; his children, Marylynn Bond, Kathleen Callahan, Bill Cooper and Tim Cooper and his eight grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 4 to 8 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Funeral services will begin on Saturday at 9 am at the funeral home followed by a 10 am Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Stony Hill Church. Entombment will be at St. Mary's Stony Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Watchung Rescue Squad, 10 Stirling Road, Watchung, NJ 07069.
