Obituary of Dominic Zampaglione

Dominic Dick Zampaglione, age 77, died on Wednesday, July 2, 2003 at his home in Warren. Born in Jersey City, he lived there a majority of his life, moving to Warren 4 years ago. Prior to his retirement in 1993, Mr. Zampaglione owned and operated Dicks Luncheonette in Jersey City. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Mount Church and an avid member of the Fraternal Order of Police in Hudson County. An enthusiastic New York Giants fan, Mr. Zampaglione valued his time with his family; especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Rachel (Buschelle) Zampaglione of Warren; two daughters, Jude Nash and her husband Rob of Dallas, TX, and Carmel Cam DAmelio and her husband Frank of Warren; five grandchildren, Dana, Joseph and Alexa DAmelio, and Rachel and Katy Nash; and one sister, Marie Sernio of Hazlet, NJ; and Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 7th at 9:30 from Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung, NJ 07069, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Mount Church in Warren. Entombment will be at St. Marys Stony Hill Cemetery in Watchung. A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
