Obituary of Pearl S. Appel

Pearl S. Appel South Carolina: Pearl S. Appel, 93, of Hilton Head Island died on Thursday, December 16, 2004 at The Preston HealthCare Center. She was born on June 7, 1911, daughter of Lena and Jacob Applebaum. She was a graduate of Trenton State College and was a longtime resident of Plainfield, NJ before moving to The Cypress on Hilton Head in 1994. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Max Appel, former owner of Spevacks Drug Store in Plainfield, New Jersey; two sisters, Nettie Berliner and Bette Applebaum and three brothers, Michael, Joseph and Milton Applebaum. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Janice and Alexander Milne of Hilton Head Island and four step grandsons, Scott, Keith, Eric and Daren Milne of New Jersey and several nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service at a date and time to be announced.
