Obituary of Regina Caffrey

Regina A. "Jeanne" Caffrey, age 81, died on Friday January 7, 2005 at RWJ University Hospital, New Brunswick. Mrs. Caffrey was born in Brooklyn NY and resided in Edison and in Jamesburg before moving back to Edison in 1997. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond P. Caffrey in 1990. Surviving are eight sons, Raymond T. of Iselin, Paul W. of Key Largo, Leo G. of Woodbridge, Robert E. of Warwick NY, John J. of Jackson , Timothy J. of Hillsborough, Patrick J. of East Windsor and Lawrence J. of Monroe; five daughters Maryanne Kennedy of Clarksburg, Theresa of Wake Forest, NC, Louise A. of Berkeley Heights, Regina A. Sardone of Jamesburg, and Agnes M. Burkat of Berkeley Heights. Also surviving are twenty-six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on 9 AM on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th St., Plainfield NJ 07060, followed by a 10:15 AM funeral Mass at St. Frances Cathedral in Metuchen. Interment will be held at St. Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia NJ. Visitation Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, Catherine St., Mobile AL c/o Brother Paul Mulligan.
