Obituary of Gino Micioni

Gino R. Micioni, age 81 died on Thursday, January 13, 2005 at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield. He was born and raised in Westfield and had lived in North Plainfield for the past 35 years. Prior to his retirement in 1983, Mr. Micioni worked for the Watson & Stillman Company in Roselle for over 25 years as a high fitter. He served in the Army during World War II in Europe and was awarded the Purple Heart. Mr. Micioni enjoyed playing golf and cards. He is survived by his wife, Josephine Presuto Micioni and his two brothers, Rico and Leo Micioni. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at Higgins Home for Funerals, 461 Somerset St. North Plainfield followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Josephs RC Church in North Plainfield. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9. Memorial donations may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, 600 First Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869-1346.
