Obituary of Frances Marie Veracca

Frances M. Veracca, 88, died on Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at the Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in South Plainfield, she was a hairdresser prior to raising her family. She resided in North Plainfield for 52 years. She enjoyed frequent visits to the Jersey shore. Prior to her illness she was a member of the North Plainfield Senior Citizens Group. She touched many lives and was devoted to her family. She will be greatly missed. Surviving is her loving husband, Stanley of 68 years; a son Robert and his wife Angela; two daughters, Rose Marie Hann and her husband Robert; Jean Miller and her husband Frank. Also surviving are her six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 22nd at 9:15 a.m. from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 461 Somerset Street, North Plainfield followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Joseph RC Church, North Plainfield. Interment will be in Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. in the funeral home.
