Obituary of Warren Seltzer

Warren F. Seltzer, age 87 died on Friday, January 21, 2005 at McCutcheon Friends Home in North Plainfield. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and lived in Plainfield and North Plainfield for many years. Mr. Seltzer was an accountant for 35 years in Newark. He served in the US Army during World War II. He was a communicant of St. Josephs Church in North Plainfield and a member of the Holy Name Society. Mr. Seltzer was an avid reader of historical novels. Surviving are 2 close friends, James H. Maynard, Jr. and Jane Cummins. Also surviving are several cousins. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at 830 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 461 Somerset St., North Plainfield followed by a 9:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Josephs RC Church in North Plainfield. Interment will follow at St. Marys Stony Hill Cemetery, Watchung. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the McCutcheon Friends Home, 112 Linden Ave., North Plainfield, NJ 07060 or to St. Josephs Church, the Corner of Jackson and Watchung Avenues, North Plainfield, NJ 07060.
