Obituary of Josephine Jacobs

Josephine Jacobs, age 90, died on Thursday, February 3, 2005 at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. She was born in Manhattan and had lived in Brooklyn and Manhattan before moving to Watchung in 1999. Mrs. Jacobs was a homemaker. She was active in the Bnai Brith Womens group in Manhattan. She enjoyed reading, history, cooking and hosting family events. Mrs. Jacobs is predeceased by her husband Albert Jacobs in 1985, her daughter, Mary Lou Silver in 1985 and her brother Paul Diaz. Surviving are her daughter, Doreen Fischer and her husband Dr. Stuart Fischer of Watchung and 3 grandchildren, Anna, Sara and Lisa. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung followed by interment at Pinelawn Cemetery, Long Island.
