Obituary of Frank Fineberg

Frank Fineberg, age 87, died on Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at Integrated Health Services in Bound Brook. Born and raised in Trenton, Mr. Fineberg had lived in Plainfield before moving to North Plainfield 56 years ago. Mr. Fineberg was the owner and operator of Frank's Diary in Plainfield for 32 years. A member of the United Orthodox Synagogue in Plainfield, he was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling. Frank was a WWII Navy veteran who served on several submarines including the USS Sea Robin. Mr. Fineberg was predeceased by his wife, Frances Libby Schneider Fineberg in 1995 and his son, Frederick Fineberg in 2000. Surviving are his three daughters; Phyllis North of North Plainfield; Rosemary Fineberg of Pembroke Pines, FL and Elaine Silverlight and her husband Barry of Warren and six grandchildren; Sara Ami Maxemchuk, Emily and Phoebe North, Michael Myer Fineberg, Gabrielle and Jocelyn Silverlight. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 11th at 11:30 a.m. in the Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield with Rabbi Moshe Samber officiating followed by interment at Hebrew Cemetery in South Plainfield.
