Obituary of Edward V. Kuzela

Edward V. Kuzela, age 91, died on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at his home in Warren. He was born in Elizabeth and had lived in Warren for 63 years. Mr. Kuzela graduated from from the Newark College of Engineering with a bachelors degree. He was a R & D Electrical Engineer for Bell Laboratories for many years. While at Bell Labs, he worked on some of the first radar for aircraft, visual sound systems, picture telephones and sophisticated telephone equipment improvements. He was a member of the Bell Labs Pioneers, enjoyed golfing and was a NY Mets fan. He is predeacesed by a grandson, Christopher Kuzela in 1988. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Elizabeth Budarf Kuzela; his sons Edward Kuzela and his wife Patricia of Clarkson, GA and Richard Kuzela and his wife Carol of Green Brook; his grandchildren, Amy ONeill, Richard Kuzela and Devon Weston: his 4 great-grandchildren and his sister, Lillian Remillong of Billerica, MA. Visitation will be on Friday from 7-9 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung. The funeral service is private.
