Obituary of Amelia P. Wagstaff

Amelia Palma (Desiato) Wagstaff, age 74, died on Monday, March 21, 2005 at Somerset Medical Center. She was born in Plainfield, grew up in North Plainfield and had lived in South Plainfield, Medford and Edison before moving to Dunellen a year ago. Mrs. Wagstaff was the secretary to the Chief of Army Reserves at Camp Kilmer for the 78th Division Reserves. She was a member of the Womens Club of South Plainfield and she enjoyed trips to Atlantic City with the Traveling Seniors and had a love for art. Mrs. Wagstaff is predeceased by her husband, Charles Wagstaff in1999. Surviving are her daughter, Karla Wagstaff of Dunellen; her brother, Albert Desiato of Scotch Plains; her sister, Antoinette Berg of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and her granddaughter, Cheyenne. Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 am on Thursday, March 24, 2005 at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th street, Plainfield followed by a 10:00 am Blessing at St. Bernards R.C. Church in Plainfield followed by interment at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9
