Obituary of Mary Chanda

WEB OBIT WEB OBIT WEB OBIT Mary H. Chanda, age 92, died on Monday, March 21, 2005 at JFK Hartwyck Rehabilitation Center in Edison. She was born in Youngstown, PA, she lived in Brooklyn, NY before moving to New Jersey in the mid 1970s. In 1984 she moved to the Rossmor Community in Jamesburg where she remained until 2002 when she moved to the Whispering Knoll Assisted Living Facility in Edison. She is predeceased by her husband, Edward in 1963. Surviving are her three sons, two sisters, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, March 24th at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield followed by a 11:30 Blessing at St. Bernard of Clairvaux R.C. Church in Plainfield. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Manville, NJ. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9.
