Dear Sue, I have not seen you in a long time, but you are in my prayers. I cannot even imagine how I would handle what you have been through. You are one of the nicest people I have known and there must be some reason, that I don't understand, why you have had to deal with such tragedy. I hope the love and caring from those around you give you strength.

Sue, We cannot express how badly we feel about Mark's illness and passing. All weekend we have been remembering all the times he and Christian shared; from Crim, Hillside and Middle school, sports and hikes in the woods. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, may he rest in peace.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Mark. There is nothing sadder than the loss of a child be they 5 or 50. But I am sure he is at peace now and was greeted warmly by his dad who is also missed. My deepest condolances to Susan & family. My prayers for their streght and comfort will continue.

Ive known Mark for the longest time. We went to school together, we had classes together, we even went to church together. I remember back in middle school when we had this one math teacher, Mr. Tobin, who never showed up. We would joke about him all the time, and did our fair share of complaining about him too. Every year he'd sign my year book with some kind of funny thing that happened to us that year. I just can't believe that he's gone now. After everything that we did throughout our years at school. All I can say now is that Mark Tropeano - I will miss you soo much, and that even though we had our fights in the past, I cant wait to see you in heaven to give you one more hug and to hear one more joke. <3 Forever - Jessi

Dear Mark,
Whenever we see the ocean, we will think of you and your sandy blonde hair and barefeet. Whenever we see nature around us and all it's creatures big and small we will remember you.It was such a privilege to know you and watch you grow from a toddler to a young man. We will always remember when you and Ashley were in Miss Davis' class and a bug flew in her window. Ashley said to you "get it Mark". You will always live in our hearts and memories.

To Susan, Kristen, Ross, the Dillon & Tropeano families,
May you all be comforted by the love, kindheartedness, warmth, affection and courage Mark showered upon us all. No words could ever speak the true meaning of just how much Mark meant to me. It was a joy to have him in my life, and sharing him along with all of you.

Mark is special and lived to teach us to live every day in kindness, compassion, and love.
We should not dishonor his life by our sadness or grief, so remember to laugh and be happy for him, though that will be our struggle for now.

Although I didn't know Mark, like Kristen & Ross, I do remember him coming over my house with his mother and us taking a walk on a beautiful day. I think he must have been about 10 years old and remember he was a sweet kid. I've known Sue for years and unfortunanetly haven't spent time with her in a long time, but think of her daily since I pass her house several times a day. I found out at work yesterday from our mutual friend, Joan, and wished I could be there to help Sue, Kristen, and Ross through this somehow. Since they will be reading this, I just want all of you to know that my husband, Billy, and son, Christopher feel terrible about this and I wishes could come true, I wish I could take away your pain and all of the pain Mark suffered. I know you have alot of friends and family, but if you ever need anything, or Sue, when you are ready, come out with me and Joan.
I don't know how to end this, except to tell you that I know Mark is with God, and I hope that this gives you comfort.
